We are registered as an approved tertiary education provider by The University Council of Jamaica and are a member of The Joint Committee for Tertiary Education. Our systems and structures have been evaluated and found acceptable by several institutions, including:

Heriot Watt University

We are authorized by Heriot Watt University (HWU) to act in the capacity of learning partner. This allows B&B the opportunity to guide our students on the path to achieve a global qualification of the highest standard. HWU was ranked in 2011 by the Guardian newspaper as the #3 university in Scotland.  The Psychology Programme offered at B&B was ranked at #5 (University Guide Psychology) and the Business and Management Programmes were ranked at #16 out of 118 similar programmes in the UK (University Guide Business Management Studies).   HWU is also in the top 10% of universities worldwide with a Times On-Line Good University ranking of #374 (Heriot Watt University World Ranking).  Their MBA programe was ranked by the Financial Times in 2010 as the most popular distance-learning programme globally, meaning that more people worldwide see it as the #1 choice when comparing a Distance-Learning MBA courses.  All of this proves that the quality, recognition and marketability of the HWU programmes are miles apart on the global ranking scale from other options in Jamaica which are not even in the top 1000 universities in the world.

Edinburgh Business School

Edinburgh Business School ( is the post-graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University. EBS runs the largest European MBA programme in the world and has a worldwide network of over 12,000 graduates in more than 150 countries.

Over 50% of Fortune 100 companies have employees on the EBS MBA programme, including Agilent, Ernst and Young, Goodyear, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Levi Strauss & Co., Scottish Power, Royal & Sun Alliance Canada and Sun Microsystems. EBS offers their MBA (General) as a supported Distance Learning programme through Approved Learning Partners (including B&B) worldwide.Currently B&B offeres The Edinburgh Business School (the graduate school of business of Heriot-Watt University) MBA programmes in Finance, HRM, Marketing and Strategic Planning.

Association of Business Executives (ABE)

The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is a professional membership body and an examination board. The ABE develops business and management Diploma qualifications at QCF Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, Level 6 (and Level 6 Extended) and Level 7. ABE qualifications provide progression routes to bachelor degree and Masters programmes worldwide.

ABE is committed to offering qualifications that are relevant, recognised and respected.  All ABE  qualifications are developed in consultation with relevant sector skills councils and employers.
